Without a trace...

	Malvika Bala Deshmukh of Bear Lake, Michigan; female; age 27; Asian or Pacific Islander; 5'1"; 110 lbs; black hair; brown eyes

Malvika Bala Deshmukh, age 27, of Bear Lake, Michigan, was last seen by friends on Friday, September 9, 2016.

On Wednesday, September 14, 2016, she was reported as missing to the Michigan State Police Post in Cadillac, Michigan.

On September 23, 2016, her unoccupied vehicle was found parked in a remote area near the North Country Trail (NCT) trailhead off the Rock River Road in Alger County in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Subsequent searches by the Alger County Sheriff's Office, Michigan State Police, Michigan Department of Natural Resources, and U.S. Forest Service failed to turn up any sign of Malvika's whereabouts.
