Without a Trace
Aju Iroaga, age 25, has been missing in Northern Ontario, Canada since May 16, 2006.
A McMaster University engineering student, Aju was working as a tree planter for A & M Reforestation.
He was last seen in remote bush 66 kilometers north of White River, Ontario wearing: a camouflage hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans, brown running shoes, a black toque, and a Tilly hat.
Despite repeated air and ground search efforts—including three helicopters and two K-9 teams—by officers with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), and their elite Emergency Response Team (ERT) from the Northeast Region, no trace of Aju Iroaga has ever been found.
The Iroaga family's request for an official coroner's inquest into the disappearance of Aju was denied by the Ontario Provincial Government.
The family retained a lawyer with Ruby & Edwardh (now Goldblatt Partners) in Toronto, Ontario, and the investigative services of Integra Investigation Services, Ltd., in Toronto, Ontario. However, neither firm was able to locate Aju, or find any trace of him in the area he went missing.
